Background
The Ministry of Labour & Employment has launched the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY) portal to facilitate registration for employment opportunities as announced by the Prime Minister on Independence Day. Alongside this, fake websites have surfaced, impersonating the government’s recruitment platform and inviting applications for job opportunities across India.
The Ministry has cautioned citizens and employers against fraudulent websites such as https://viksitbharatrozgaryojana.org/ and https://pmviksitbharatrozgaryojana.com/, which falsely claim to be government portals and solicit personal data and payments. The Ministry has clarified that it is not associated with such websites and advised against sharing sensitive information or making payments. For genuine registration and information related to PMVBRY, users must only visit https://pmvbry.epfindia.gov.in or https://pmvbry.labour.gov.in. Stakeholders are urged to remain vigilant and rely exclusively on official portals for engagement.
