The Rajasthan High Court (Jodhpur Bench), through an interim order, has directed the Central Government and CBDT to extend the due date for filing Tax Audit Reports to October 31, 2025. The Court has asked CBDT to issue necessary directions, with the next hearing scheduled on October 27, 2025. This extension is judicial in nature and awaits formal notification from CBDT for nationwide applicability.
