Procedure and Forms for PAN Correction Applications

Effective Date: April 01, 2026

This order specifies the procedure and forms to be used by PAN holders for correction or modification of PAN data. It applies to individuals and non-individual entities requiring updates in PAN details and introduces standardized forms along with submission mechanisms.

  1. a) PAN holders are required to fill the following Forms for Changes or Correction in PAN Data:
    PAN CR-01: Request For Changes or Correction in PAN Data [For an Individual]
    ii. PAN CR-02: Request For Changes or Correction in PAN Data [For Non-Individual]
  2. b) The PDF format of the Forms for Changes or Correction in PAN Data, along with the related guidelines, is attached at Annexure-1.
  3. c) The Forms can be submitted physically in the PAN Centres of M/s UTIITSL / M/s Protean eGov or online through their websites.

d) This order shall apply with effect from 01.04.2026.
