Revision in the Eligibility Criteria for Migration of SME Companies to Main Board

BSE Notice No – 20250820-11 dated August 07, 2025

BSE has revised the eligibility criteria for SMEs migrating to the Main Board to ensure only financially sound and liquid companies move up. The revised norms are applicable from August 11, 2025, the date of BSE’s media release.

The new rules demand higher profitability, wider shareholder base, stronger liquidity, and consistent assets. These amendments raise the benchmark for SME companies, aligning them with Main Board standards.
