Effective Date – October 23, 2025 (30 days from notification)
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has notified a revision to the SCOMET List under Appendix-3 of Schedule-II (Export Policy) of ITC(HS) 2022. This update aligns the list with multilateral export control regimes.
The revised SCOMET List will be uploaded on the DGFT website under “Regulatory Updates → Import, Export and SCOMET Policy”. To provide sufficient transition time for stakeholders, the revised list shall come into effect 30 days from the date of notification.
This notification supersedes previous SCOMET notifications, including Notifications No. 05/2017, 13/2017, 29/2017, 17/2018, 04/2019, 10/2020, 47/2021, 46/2022, 27/2023, and 25/2024.
