Notification/Circular No.: WSU/TransferClaimPt1/E-1163369/2025-26/33 dated September 18, 2025
Applicable Act/Rule: Employees’ Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952
The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has issued a circular to enhance transparency and convenience for PF members regarding the transfer of Provident Fund accumulations when changing jobs. The Transfer Certificate in Annexure K, which contains the member’s PF balance with interest, complete service history for EPS benefit computation, and employment details, is a key document in this process.
Upon successful processing of Form 13, the Transfer Certificate in Annexure K is generated by the Transferor (source) office and forwarded to the Transferee (destination) office to credit PF accumulations and pension service. To improve accessibility and convenience, EPFO has now made Annexure K available for direct download in the Member Portal. Members can access it via Member Portal → Online Services → Track Claim Status → Download Annexure K.
Field offices are advised to disseminate information about this facility widely using helpdesks, social media, press notes, and other communication tools. Members can also be guided to use this facility during grievance-handling sessions for resolving pending PF transfer issues. This initiative is part of EPFO’s ongoing effort to provide member-centric, technology-driven services ensuring efficiency, transparency, and ease of access. Feedback and suggestions for further service simplification may be sent to so.wsu@epfindia.gov.in with the subject “Feedback/Suggestions”.
