Exemptions under QCO for Input Steel Standards in Imports

Ministry of Steel had previously mandated that steel and steel products intended for import must conform to the relevant Indian Standards as notified in the applicable Quality Control Orders (QCO) and must be registered on the Steel Import Monitoring System (SIMS).

Delhi Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Rules, 2025

The Department of Social Welfare, Government of NCT of Delhi, has notified the Delhi Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Rules, 2025 under the authority of Section 22(1) of the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019. Guidance for Issuing NOC to Manufacture New Drugs for Export

Manufacturers licensed under Form 25, 28, or 28-D (including loan licences) can apply to the CDSCO Zonal Offices for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to manufacture unapproved or approved new drugs solely for export purposes. This guidance ensures standardisation and traceability, in line with Rule 94 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and MoHFW guidelines.

Mandatory registration of partnership deeds and LLP deeds

Rajasthan RERA has issued a clarification regarding the requirement under Regulation 3(4) of the RERA Regulations, 2024, which mandates the registration of partnership and LLP deeds. It is now clarified that this requirement is applicable only to deeds executed on or after March 14, 2024, which is the date of notification in the official gazette. This also includes any subsequent documents modifying the deed or LLP agreement, such as supplementary deeds or amendments. The regulation does not apply retrospectively, meaning that any deeds or related documents created before this date will not be required to undergo registration under the said provision, and such older documents shall remain unaffected by this requirement.

FSSAI Mandates Scrutiny of Annual Returns Filed on FoSCoS

To enhance data credibility and strengthen enforcement, FSSAI has directed all Licensing Authorities to scrutinise the Annual Returns submitted by Food Business Operators (FBOs) through the FoSCoS portal. Online submission was mandated from FY 2020–21, which has significantly improved compliance. These returns include critical information like production and compliance data. If discrepancies or false declarations are found, enforcement actions will be taken under applicable provisions of the FSS Act, 2006.

Final Set of 38 Company Forms Now Live on MCA V3 Portal

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has made the final batch of 38 company-related forms available on its new V3 portal. This set includes important forms like 13 for annual filings and 6 for audit and cost audit, which companies need to submit every year.
