In a high-level meeting held on July 8, 2025, at the FSSAI headquarters in New Delhi, the CEO of FSSAI issued strong directives to over 70 representatives from leading e-commerce platforms, emphasising non-negotiable food safety compliance.

Environment (Protection) Third Amendment Rules, 2025
In continuation of the earlier draft and after considering all stakeholder inputs, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has notified the Environment (Protection) Third Amendment Rules, 2025. The amendment inserts a new proviso in Schedule I of the Rules under serial number 5A, which pertains to standards for thermal power plants.
